Hmm, you screwed up, when???
Remember, Cars are not a "simple" technology. When you compare an MT to an AT and see all the components required to just shift from one gear to another automatically, its easy to miss something anywhere, there any many parts, that MAF sensor is one of them.
So with all those pieces to look at, it would be un-realistic to check the battery, as weak batteries cause many issues way before setting trouble codes. I doubt the dealership would have even checked that 1st.
You should check for that code on their servers and see what their instructions are.
