Passenger Airbag Plug Under Seat

Bought an 05' Cobalt LS yesterday.

I get the "service airbag" when I turn on the car, followed by a tone. I've done a lot of reading and hear about this wire under the seat.

Well I looked and the ONLY wire I can seem to find, connects directly to the end of the seat belt and then nowhere... its a male 4 pin plug, purple that leads to nowhere.

this is what it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/Hs3Tw.jpg

Now my question is, is this the infamous plug Ive been reading about, and where the hell does it go. I've been cramming myself under the seat ... got stuck a few times, cant find where to put it!

Well I can't find that connector in the service manual anywhere for your car. I'll have to check again in the morning when I'm rested.

Mine is an 07 and I checked it this morning and it has no such connector. None with those colors. I rechecked the 2005 service manual this morning and still found no 4 pin connector with a red, blue, black set-up. Sorry, maybe somebody with a 2005 can creep under there seat. The things you find under there, 27 and a condom wrapper.

Now that it's daytime can you tell if those wires have a solid color or do they have a black or white stripe. Because there are no solid red wires in the car.
