07 Cobalt Purge Solenoid Help.

I have a 07 cobalt LTZ That the engine light came on, and it was the purge solenoid. My problem is that I have changed the purge solenoid twice now but the engine light keeps coming on after I clear it, and it is the same issue.

After I replaced the solenoid, my car starts normal with the oem remote starter but when I turn the car off and turn it back on the engine light comes on again, and remote starter wont start.

Can some one please help me.

Thanks in advance.

That code could mean you have a vacuum leak somewhere, not necessarily that the solenoid is bad.

Shorty Antenna, Painted Calipers, SAI K&N Intake, B&G Lowering Springs, FE5 Shocks and Struts, Moog End Links, Moog Tie Rod Ends, Polk Audio DXi650 Speakers - front and back.

Really. Any ideas on how to detect if it has a leak?

If it's a vacuum leak you should be able to hear it if you pop the hood with the car started. Should being the key word lol

Could it be the canister solenoid in the back of the car?

I know when I had the engine light code, that was the 2nd option after the purge solenoid in the front of the car.

Number 4 is the solenoid, number 5 is the canister.Located right behind the gas tank.

Thanks for all the help, now that I replaced both solenoids, I cleared the code but now another code shows up P2432. Any help on where to look for?

The minute I clear the code my oem remote starter works and the cell is out, but when I turn the car off, the cell comes back and remote starter does not work.

Any help on where and what to look for?

You probably inadvertently partially disconnected the secondary air injection hose while working under the hood.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

P2432 The pressure sensor signal is less than 0.2 volt for at least 12.5 seconds.
