Water in door panels.

Anyone had this problem? Both my speakers are fried from it. I just pulled them and they were soaked, I'm pretty pissed about this since it shouldn't happen. I know a guy who had an 09 that did it as well

Only if you leave your windows down in a downpour I guess otherwise water should come out the bottom drain and vent holes. Unless you parked your car in the pool that is.

Never left them down or anything. It's not like pooled up in the panel that I saw but it ran down all over the speakers

This means not enough care was taken with the water barrier to make sure it wasn't ruptured and resealed after speaker installation. I posted somewhere the how to remove and re-install water barrier.

The plastic piece was messed up the first time I ever took the panel off on the drivers side, I tried to fix it best I could but it's like it wasn't big enough. The passenger side is still perfect though
