Shifting Issues.

When I am at about 40 mph and my car has shifted to the last gear and is running minimal rps in that gear it will act like it wants to go back to the gear it just came out of and you can watch the rpm gauge just fluctuate. Some times when it goes into that last gear its almost like someone pushing the car when it shifts, kinda jerks a lil it. What does this sound like?

Does it idle OK? Sounds like it's starving for air. Maybe just a dirty airfilter, take the filter out and take it out for a spin, if it doesn't fix it put the filter back in. If it does fix it just get a new filter.

Check air filtre then. Because if it idles fine throttlebody is Okay and so is MAF.

Ok. Do you think it could be a tranny issue?

It could but it sure looks like you don't have enough torque and TCM is having a hard time calculating if it should lock the torque converter.
