Timing Chain Rattle on Startup.

I have noticed quite a few threads regarding a rattle noise on startup for a few seconds. Mine does it too. It is the hydraulic timing chain tensioner not having oil pressure for a few seconds.I read somewhere chevy has changed the oil pumpdesign, gone to some sort of "gooseneck" design. My question is how will this problem affect the longevity of the engine?Don't kid yourself, dealers should know about this, they are playing dumb as it is widespread and could be very costly to GM if under warranty and a moneymaker when not.To the lady from GM who answers some posts, please respond as I have a 2006 Cobalt still under warranty for 8 months and would like to get this looked at.
