My buddy JUST had the SAME EXACT problems you are describing. It ended up being (and someone please correct the poor terminology) the Idle Control Sensor (maybe Module). I never heard of it. It was not cheap to replace, but it took care of the issue.

07 Acura TL- PHD FB 4.1s for kicks, center, rear fill, AF 1.C TW for dash, AF 8.1 for doors, Audiomobile Elite 2208 for rear deck, Pair of FB 12.1, Helix A4 and saving up for more Helix amps and Bitone.

Bienvenue mon ami. I would clean throttle body first if it doesn't stall and you have no codes. Cheaper things first.

I doubt it your sensor if you don't have a check engine light.
Get your throttle body and butterfly cleaned if you don't know how. Most garages charge like $20 to do this. Then you worry about sensors if it still runs bad. My experience tells me it's never been cleaned and this is your problem. The reason your lights are dimming is because the alternator speed falls below the charge threshole and your battery voltage falls from 14.3 to 12 volts which is normal if RPMs fall under 700.

If cleaning the throttle body settles your RPM fluctuations your lights will not dim anymore. One is dependant on the other.
