Haunted Radio??

I listen to a certain AM radio station on the commute into the city for the news. For the last couple weeks, the radio has been changing the stations by itself. It just scans over to the next signal it finds, always in the same direction. I change it back & less than 30 seconds later(avg.)it changes again. Only does it on AM & not FM. Anybody else ever have this freaky issue?

I can't say if this is your issue, but mine did that when the harness in my steering column (underneath the top shroud cover) was loose. Have you done any electrical mods recently?

I checked for any troubleshooting information, but was not able to find anything to help with this. :( Hope you get some great feedback from the community, and if you decide to work with a dealership please keep me posted!

Would not be the wheel buttons if it only does it on "AM" because it is the same circuit for both. Try actuating both seek buttons multiple times, to see if you can't dislodge any possible dirt that might be applying pressure on one of the seek switches.
