Rpms Jump

When in 3rd or 4th gear when keeping the throttle steady there's a slight rpm jump between 2000-2400 it will do it repeatedly until I either let go of the gas or push it a little more I have an automatic and it just started recently could it be transmission related or throttle plate getting blocked its hard for me to tell since I'm still learning any ideas?

It's called torque converter shutter. Have you checked your transmission fluid level?
