Blowing Hot Air, Ac Not Working.

Everythig worked fine last night, but this morning, my temp control/ac panel doesn't work. All I can control is the blower.t No mater what I set air temperature to, vents blow hot air I can't even control where it blows out, that knob doesn't work either. None of the buttons for ac, rear defog, or air circulation light up.

While driving, outside temp is 65, my coolant temp stayed between 180-185. When I stopped, it started to heat up past 196....

Thinking thrmostat maybe stuck? But that doesn't explain panel not working... Thanks in advance..

Joe

Your engine temperature is normal. Did you check the HVAC fuse in th "BCM" fuse block?

Fuse #10 a red 10 amp fuse at the very top right hand corner.

I got back into my car the afternoon after I was having trouble, everything worked. Theres a fleet mechanic at our shop that said it could also just be the entire dash piece going bad, where i control the air. He said tap it next time and see if it does anything, which is how i usually get thngs to work anyways! heh. Thanks again
