Lightbulb Interesting Turn Signal Question

So, I recently noticed that my driver's side turn signal light in the front is always half-way on. The head-on turn signal and the side signal are both on (when running lights are auto on). Now, the blinker still WORKS. It starts blinking normal brightness, then falls back to the "always on" that isn't normal, but the lights stay solid the whole time. I've tried switching the bulbs from left to right and checked that all filaments are in-tact. Doesn't seem to be a wiring issue, either. The back break lights and turn signals work just fine. It's a 2008 LT2 sedan... anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!

Check to see if your DRL loop has melted through the harness and now touching that particular wire. Mine did.

If it looks like this chances are that blinker wire is touching DRL wire.

Here's where I opened mine o find the mess about center of rad support. DRL voltage is about 8volts which would explain the dim lit blinker bulb.

Just cut a little slit in the black tape covering the plastic armour and check for a purple wire. If you find it that means the DRL wire didn't burn. But if you find the same mess I did take your time and isolate each wire. Clean it up and replace defective wires. Then wrap DRL wires seperately in a different armour.
