I've got the maple syrup smell coming from my vents. I was told that if I smelled it from the inside of my car, its the heater core, and if I smell it from the outside, its the radiator. I was just looking for a second opinion and also some tips on how to fix it. Thanks.
My temp has never gone above 190. It averages like 184. And my coolant wasn't at the fill line when I bought it. But I've filled it up to the fill line and I keep checking to see if the level has gone down before I drive it. So far so good. And I haven't actually had the heat on. Just the air.
