Update on 08 Chevy Cobalt Sedan

problem with starting randomly.
mechanic had the car for 2 days, unsolve mysteries.
yep

These cars suck.
trading it in as soon as I get the chance..

You won't get much help saying cobalts suck on a cobalt forum.

2009 Ford Escape Limited - 3.0L, 6 speed auto, 4x4, 25/33 city/hwy imp mpg.
2017 F150 XLT-XTR - 5.0L, 4x4, 3.55's, E-locker, xtr chrome package, fx4 off-road package.
20/25 imp mpg

its just been frustrating.
Ive done all I can do to maintain this car.
still havin issues. specially that electrical issue. HATE IT.
not even my mechanic can figure it out.

What's it doing?

BTW a lot of cobalts have very little problems other than maintenance. Cost vs quality they're hard to beat

it randomly doesnt start. its so spontaneous.


lnew batt,new alternator, new fuel pump, new starter, new fuel filter, new fuses.

it still doesnt start random times....

Did you check the plugs? My old car would do that. Had to pull the plugs and clean them from time to time with tranny fluid and a rag. Then it would run fine for month or 2 then act up. If its not what the other posters said try that.
