GM Tech II Montreal Area??

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section but I was just wondering if anyone in the Montreal area has a Tech II? I really need someone who knows what they're doing and are willing to troubleshoot my cruise control issue with me. I did the steering wheel button and wire addition a few months ago and of course the radio ones worked right away. Everything appears to be in working order and i've even tested the voltage when each cruise button is depressed. It does change. So now I know it's just the BCM that needs to be re-programmed to accept cruise as an option on what was a bare bones G5. I have tried to bring it to the dealer... In one instance they said it was the buttons, so they ordered new buttons and put them on, didn't fix it. The next was they "followed" a print out I gave them from The Cruise Control store online that outlined how to add one of their units that mimics the way the factory cruise works, this didn't work either. Then the last place I went to said my car didn't have it in the first place, and they won't add it. Could anyone around me help with this? I'm willing to drive as far as a 2 hour radius around the island of Montreal.

Thank You! or.. Merci Beaucoup!

If you wired pin 61 it just needs to be enabled in the "BCM" by TechII. J'en ai un mais Je suis Moncton.
