Low Beam Doesn't Turn On

The driver's side low beam won't light up on my 2010 cobalt. I've replaced the bulb along with the fuse for the left low beam and have no luck. The driver's side high beam works well and so does the low beam on the passenger side. I saw on the cover of the fuse box a mention to a PCB Relay for the low beam, but can't find it. Does anyone have an idea on what could be happening?

My guess is that your DRL loop has melted and fused the low beam wire going to the bulb. Check just behind the radiator support to see if wire harness armour has melted. Like in this picture.

If your passenger side low beam comes on OK then it's not the relay because it is the same contact for both low beam filaments.

I'll check on this, but the passenger side works fine, just the driver side low beam doesn't light up.

Two separate wires feeds each low beam filament.

Any news since checking into this, supertbone? I can't help much with technical advice, but if you had questions about warranties, recalls, or working with a dealership, please don't hesitate to contact me here on the forum or by email (include your name, contact information, and the last 8 digits of your VIN).
