Question Accessing Relay #32

Last night my windows and sunroof stopped working at the same time with nothing else being affected. I looked up what the case could be and I found most commonly its the relay #32 on the inside of the cabin and I need to reseat it. This is what it said (If your radio and door locks still works it should be the "Rap relay" #32 on the bcm thats giving you the trouble.
Both the 30 amp pwr Wndw fuse(#29) and the S roof 15a fuse(#20) are fed from it.) However when I pulled off the cover I found that number 32 was under a red plug. My question is, do I just unbolt the red cover by the center? Will that release all the wires connected? When I pressed on it, it the windows worked again for a second then stopped. If it makes any difference I have the ss/sc 07 Thanks in advance for the help!

The relay is on the drivers side of the BCM. Just take the center console kick panel off and it's right there. You can see location of relay in this picture.

But on the map-key diagram it shows it number 32 just under the red. It also shows two under the red. You sure this is the one I'm looking for? The one that only has the windows and sun roof linked?

The picture is of the "RAP" relay. number 3604 on it. Only 30 is on the fuse side and it's for HVAC. 31 is empty for Cobalts.

Right number 32 is the one. Is that the one on the back? Sorry, I'm just trying to make sure its the right relay to prevent extra work. Wouldn't 32 be under the red on the front as it shows both right next to the bolt for it?

Oh i think I got it. It shows it there but it is actually under it. Correct? So do I just unscrew the whole thing and pop it out and reseat it? Do i need to unplug anything to get the bcm out?

Only one relay on the passenger fuse side and it's the HVAC relay.

The "RAP" relay is on the flip side, driver side of the console.

Ok, I got to it and it was mostly unplugged. I pushed it back in and now everything works. However when I took it out I had to unplug everything to get to it. When I started my car my check engine light is now on. Do I have to take it in to get it shut off?

You obviously didn't read post 2 properly. You don't need to unplug anything if you remove the kick panel on drivers side. Did you disconnect the battery before unplugging any connectors? If no, which I suspect, you will have to disconnect the batterry for 15 minutes and plug it back. Unless you have a code reader that you can clear the code with.
