has anyone had the service e.s.c warning light come on in the dash for no apparent reason? and did it not come back on the next time they got in the car? i was driving home on hwy last night doing 100 kms when suddenly the service e.s.c. ,reduced engine power warning came on.no reason i could see why? i hope when i get back in the car today its not on my dash! thnx!

2009 cobalt ss,k&N typhoon intake, short shifter,tuned cat-back exhaust, jet black.

I have had that happen a few times on my ss. Have you taken it in to see if it has had the warranty recall/tsb on it yet? the ESC's in the cobalts have a recall for this reason right here, and if yours is doing it, I can almost garuntee you haven't had the recall done.

You will have a code or codes. Find out what they are. Anything from low oil to a bad sensor.

thnx to both of you! got in car today and no warning.but i am finding out if recall has been done, and if not will be.
