2010 Oil Leak

Sorry to jump past the intorduction threads and go straight to the problems. I have an oil leak. I have not yet parked it in a clean spot to help target it but it appears to be on the driver side front of engine. I was wondering if anyone has had a similiar problem before I dive into this and yes, my warranty is out. i have just over 37,000 miles. Thanks ahead of time.

Re: 2010 Oil Leak

Engine oil or transmission fluid? If you POP your hood is it wet by the filter?

Garage
Get yourself a large piece of cardboard and lay it under. Also you will need a good light. Wash your engine with degreaser so engine is clean then take it out for a short drive. place cardboard under the engine bay and wait and check with bright light for oil leak up top.

Welcome to the forum, skyhammer.
It looks like you're planning on doing this work yourself, but if you should need any assistance in working with a dealership to get this checked into or have any questions about warranty, I'm available to assist.
