Exclamation Surging During Acceleration

Recently I have noticed that my car has been surging during acceleration, it's mostly noticeable from a complete stop sometimes it hesitates so much that I think it's going to stall, also I have had problems with my speedometer jumping. Any ideas on either if these problems? Thanks

I have an automatic which was hesitating from stop to go. It was just a dirty throttle body.
However, recently it started doing it again. My check engine light came on and I got 6 codes all about the throttle.

Throttle position and auto trans are directly related. What codes? And how many miles on the auto trans? What kind of scanner(global or enhanced, global being autozone type) did the codes come from? Could it read the TCM?(maybe more codes)

Crc spray and a microfiber towel or old tooth brush

Cleaned the throttle body hasn't seemed to fix anything yet, could it possibly be a fuel filter? Also I have been experiencing jerky steering at low speeds anyone know why this could be happening, recently my car has been causing lots of headaches.

Re: Surging During Acceleration

Voltage dropping with rpm probably, change fuel filter and get a scanner on to look at your o2 sensors

Yellocobalt05,

You seem like a very competent DIYer, but if you do decide to work with a dealership to get this looked into, please don't hesitate to contact me as I'm happy to work with you through that process.
