HVAC Problem

Hi, I have a 2008 Chevy Cobalt. I am having a problem in the HVAC fuse interior fuse block #10, 10amp hvac/pk3+ fuse at first I noticed the anti-theft light came on and stayed on while I was driving, further symptoms include the temp control/ac panel not working at all no a/c or rear defroster along with the front defroster not working and blowing only extremely hot air. I replaced the fuse today and and within a few miles it had already blown again. When I did hear it blow today I know I was making a hard right turn. I don't know what keeps blowing this fuse please help.

Thanks in advance.

Chafed wire probably. It will be a red/white wire.

Thanks for the response I have a Haynes manual on this I've been looking over all night but just this little piece of schematic helps out tremendously. After looking this over I should note that fuse 16 wasn't blown but the spades were slightly burnt so maybe the red and white is rubbing the pnk ignition wire I guess we'll find out. Hopefully be able to look at it again shortly when it isn't so cold and snowy. Atleast I have heat, Extremely Hot!! haha

Yanking on the harness sometimes will move the chaf enough that it won't bother you for 5 years. But if fuse 16 has burn marks or pits changes the fuse, it supplies the blower motor.

It wouldn't start for me today checked #10 sure enough that's what it was, funny thing is when it's been blown before and I've shut the car off and restarted without changing the fuse the car has started now today it through a wrench at me and wouldn't start. The new fuse blew as soon as I put a new one in. Yanked on the harness a little and sure enough it moved the wires enough to fix the issue until I can repair it this weekend.

Thanks a lot.
