Cool Fuel System Service

I took my 08 cobalt into the dealer today to have an oil change done as with the weather i couldnt do it myself. i have 33,000 miles on my balt. They recommended that i have the fuel system service done on my car, its $199. Ive looked around online and found that there are two types of services one where they pressure inject the cleaner into the system and remove and clean the injectors, or are they simply going to replace the fuel filter and put some injector cleaner into my tank which i could easily do. what have you guys done?

Re: Fuel System Service

Plenty of guys have replaced their fuel filters where in most balts are easily accessible. Why the Hell would that cost $200?!

Not a bad idea to throw in a bottle of GM fuel treatment once in a while. I just did my moms old 2001 Cavalier and what a difference it made to the running of that engine, better on fuel now too. I'm now putting this stuff in all my cars GM or not. But don't think I'd pay $200 to clean something that might not even need it.
