Threw a Rod

So I'm not hard on my 05 2.2 and i just left my house wasn't a mile down a dirt road and hadn't got over 20mph and my car dies ..... look at the motor and then look under and it threw a rod through the oil pan -_- any ideas?

Driving a white 05 4-door basic balt with 16'' alloy wheels, 6 1/2'' kickers in the front doors, two 12'' kenwoods in a probox with an 1000 watt amp!

Sorry to hear. Pictures? Odds are that you didn't have a sufficient amount of oil or your rod bolts failed and just said "eff you"

Look for a used motor.

What kind of mileage? Dropping a rod on a 2.2l ecotec is almost unheard of. Did you recently get any work done on the motor? Did you watch the oil levels? Did you crack the oil pan on that dirt road by any chance?
