Wipers Quit Working

Wipers suddenly quit working, I've check the fuse on the passenger side..I can hear that the motor is running. What else should I look at?

Obstruction? Bracket broke? Can you move the wipers with your hand?

No obstruction, don't see anything broke. Yes, can move the wipers by hand.

Something is definitely broke then. Shouldn't be able to move the wipers like that. Either the bolt on the motor came loose, teeth stripped out or gears broke in the motor. You'll hqve to take the cowl off and check. Not to hard. I wouldn't take it anywhere to do it, thats me though.

The cowl is the piece of fiberglass between your windshield and hood, where the wiper arms are connected at.
