Driver door cable broken. Need help!

Ok so i cat open my door from the inside or outside and i need to open the door to get the panel off to see what's wring with my door. I dint want to deal with the chevy dealership. So how do i get the door open when its broken lol.

My door locks and unlock just need to open the door will that tool open the door.

Eventhough your lock knob comes up it doesn't mean door is unlocked, it just means locking mechanism is up.

ok. say i get the tool where do i use it at to get the door open. cuz the handle on the inside and outside don't do anything at the moment. door can be locked or unlocked even with the key and i still cant open the door.

still not 100% sure but i think it was just catching on something. cuz i messed with it for like 20 min and now the door works fine lol. my door was just in a mood i guess.

Mine does that all the time. Heat stretches the cable. Makes it impossible to open. I just broke my handle off for the second time. Horrible design.
