Dead Battery Caused?

I was working in the garage with the radio on in the car. I got busy and forgot. Killed the battery dead as a hammer. I used a jumpbox to jump it off. Now the keyless fob does not work. There are no indicator sounds from the seatbelt alarm, headlight alarm or the key alarm if you open the door. I have checked every fuse in the car with a meter and have tried pulling the positive cable for 30 minutes. Any ideas?

Did you check the big "BCM" fuse in the trunk?

I checked the fuse in trunk as well. Its good. Also the tire pressure monitor on the info center is showing -- on every tire.

By the way all these things started when I ran down the battery.

I can't speak for the other issues but the headlight tone, key alarm and seatbelt alarm sounds like an issue with the speaker. My front left speaker was not blown but just didn't make noise, that's where the warning tones come from is the drivers door speaker. The speakers on these cars are just plain crap. I highly suggest going on amazon and picking up a pair of cheap pioneer door speakers. Best 50 bucks I ever spent.

Well that explains the lack of noise, cause both front speakers are toast. Thanks for the help. Now hopefully someone can give me a little insight on the others.

Well you might need to get your RCDLR module re-flashed or at least re-enabled. RCDLR or RKE is the module under the dash pad that receives key FOB signals and TPMS signals. By the looks of things it stop communicating with your "BCM". Can't remember if there's an RKE fuse....or not.

Found it, it is the same fuse as the radio.

fuse23 in "BCM" block RDO Fuse 15A Radio, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) (AU0)AU0 is the RPO code for your RKE
So if your radio works your RKE has power and was disabled when your battery died. Might just have to reprogram your "RCDLR" but you will need a TechII for this. Texas is a bit far from me though, I can't help you there.
