Was wondering if anyone can help me with this as I have no idea or even a clue for what to look for.

I drove over a large rock and put a large dent in the base pan of the transmission. I brought it to the dealer and they replaced the pan filter and seal and fluids. We thought that would fix the problem as that was the only damage they could see

When i hit the rock i stopped the car and put it in park and shut the engine off it didnt move after or since besides shifting it to neutral so it could be winched on to a flat bed tow truck and then the same to take it off the back of the truck

The problem im having now is the car will not go in reverse unless i rev it up.

any ideas on what i should look for

Thanks so much for the help
