Service Air Bag

Hey guys after reading other threads I couldn't find the answer I was looking for. When I bought my car it had a service air bag light on. It has a rebuilt title. He had to replace airbags to get the r title. Anyway I can turn that off? I pulled the airbag fuse and nothing. Also my service traction light is always on. Anyway of turning that off?

I am not away of a direct way to turn it off. I know in the past people have talked about unplugging the battery for 5-10 minutes. Then running the car for 150 or so miles to clear some codes. I don't think that will work with the airbag though.

Does your horn work?

I would advise seeing what codes are causing the light. Did he replace the air bags all around? (rear/front roof columns) in addition to dash?

The most efficient way of tracking this down is to pull DTC's. Have you pulled any codes by any chance?

But you need a Tech 2 to read restraint DTCs. Check and make sure all sensors are plugged in. Especially the one mounted on the radiator support. (Frontal impact sensor)
