I can answer your questions....

I repair these all the time, the number on the back of your remote needs to be 22733524.
The vehicle has a security built in to protect your car from somebody playing with the remote ( like mothers giving the key bundle to kids because they like the rattle sound). Start your car with the key count to 10 then shut it off. Now try your remote again!!!
Also if you have been playing with it a lot maybe the RCDLR resorted to default which means you would have to press lock twice then press start and hold. Good luck!

Did you start the car with the key, let it run for 10 seconds and shut it off.

OH! by the way car will not remote start if you have a check engine light or a pending code. So make sure you don't have either one of these and you might want to check that your car didn't default to garage mode if you played with it too many times. Garage mode will disable remote start.

Go through the key FOB menu in your DIC. Read owners manual maybe????.

REMOTE START
If your vehicle has remote start, this feature allows remote start to be turned off or on. Remote start allows you to start the engine from outside of the vehicle using your Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. When REMOTE START appears on the display, press and hold the reset button for at least one second to scroll through the available settings:

OFF: The remote start feature will be disabled.

ON (default): The remote start feature will be enabled.

---------- Post added at 11:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:14 PM ----------

To change feature settings, use the following procedure:

Entering Personalization Menu
Turn the ignition on while the vehicle is stopped.
To avoid excessive drain on the battery, it is recommended that the headlamps are turned off.

Press and hold the information and reset buttons at the same time for one second, then release to enter the personalization menu.
If the vehicle speed is greater than 2 mph (3 km/h), only the UNITS menu will be accessible.

Press the information button to scroll through the available personalization menu modes.
Press the reset button to scroll through the available settings for each mode.

If you do not make a selection within ten seconds, the display will go back to the previous information displayed.
