Wheel Bearing Fused to Axle

So trying to replace my bearing, it came off the suspension with a slide hammer no problem, but the axle wont let up. I've soaked it with liquid wrench and such, just no avail. Any ideas?

Right now my creative solution is to press on the axle rod (probably nor right use for term, but w/e) and the back of the bearing with a bar to try to push the axle out. I can't just pull or I tug on the axle...I have it applying firm pressure for the next few hours to see if it'll give in.

I was doing both sides, and the passenger side worked well, so I don't think I'm missing anything.

what ive done in the past is take your wheel, put it on the hub(all bolts loose). Put a few lugs on all the way on so the wheel fits flush. SLOWLY lower the jack a very small amount. Just until it puts pressure on the hub. Dont lower too much or you will damage axle. Good way to free stuck hub

All the puller does is tug on the axle really hard. Is that not going to possible damage the axle? As in, is there something inside that holds the axle together that can give and or wear if the hub gives me a hard time?

yep, a dedicated puller instead of the one that came with the slide hammer kit worked like a charm! Thanks!
