I Got a Problem and Don't Know What It Is.

ok. so my balt has been acting weird lately. so when i have the ac on blowing on high the car seems to jerks every 8 - 10 sec for about 20 min and i can feel the power being lost and gained when it stops jerking. and when the car idles the fans kick on and off and my rpms fluctuate irregularly. i will get a video up when it starts doing it again. anyone think they know what it is? its not the TB cuz i cleaned it a few days ago.

It's your ac clutch. Mine used to do this and it was only a noticable problem while at idle or going slow. I just didn't use the AC unless I was moving.

Unfortunately I dont know if there is a solution.

hahaha good one. well my dad looked at it and he thinks its the ac compressor. so instead of me paying 350 for a new one I'm gonna let chevy do it for me.

had chevy look at it and it turns out there was too much freon in the system, so they did a complete ac system clean for me. cobalts hold .9 and mine had 1.4 in it lol.
