Door Handle Problem

okay so the other day i tried to open my door and my handle didnt do anything. it literally sound like a spring snapped (it didnt i can still see it) and now when i pull the handle there is all play in it. no grab whatssoever. amnyway i feel like the spring that clips on fell off or something thats not releasing the lock actuator. anyone know how to fix this?

interior or exterior. interior should be an easy fix. I'm no help if its the exterior.

Start by taking the door panel off and investigate. No rocket science there. 2 clips and 3 screws and off comes the door panel.

it may be that you had a door latch problem and made it worse by applying too much force on the handle??

apparently it's common to have problems with the door latching mechanism on these cars.

only problem with that is that the exterior door handle works just fine. its interior thats the problem
