Replacing a Taillight

Five days in, and someone backed into my daughter's "new" '09 Cobalt sedan, breaking the LR taillight. Does it require the rear fascia to come off to replace a taillight...like I think it does for a headlight? Thanks.

I think if you open the trunk there should be nuts holding the tail light in. I know that's how it is on a coupe. The headlight comes out by just unscrewing the bolts and pulling out. No need to remove anything else.

Tail light just pulls straight out after removing 2 or 3 nuts.
