Strut Replacement Cost

I drive a 2007 Cobalt LT and live in Southeastern North Carolina.

I was recently told that my struts are leaking and will need to be replaced soon. I was then given a minimum estimate of $900, which seemed a little ridiculous.

Now, I don't know if this was front, rear, or both, but what should I expect to pay? I'd like to take care of my car, but I'd also like to be able to eat.

+1 best price for factory struts. The FE5's may sit down almost 1/2 " lower than your stock ones, but it will deliver better uneven road dampening.

I got a set of FE5's and waiting til Saturday to install them with my springs

I think he may be asking about the cost for the shop to do it. Honestly, if they know what they're doing, it shouldn't take them more than 2 hours to replace it all
