Question Rear Brakes??? O.o

Every time i press the brakes, I hear a grinding sounds

Hi everyone! I need help! D:

I have a 06 Chevy Cobalt LS. So about every two weeks I have to put brake fluid in my car because it keeps running out. I know that's not normal. A couple months ago I asked someone to check my car out. And he told me that I need to change my rear brakes? But as of today I started to hear a loud grinding sound every time I pressed my brakes.

SO what items do I need to buy, So that Im able to replace the rear brakes?

*well Im going to ask someone to do for me xD

Please and Thank you!!!!!

Your local shop will have a full kit for the rear brakes, springs and all. But sounds like you have a line issue. I would look for leaks, maybe clean off the lines and take a look in a day or two for the leak.

That grinding sound is because you have a leaky brake cylinder and brake fluid went on the brake shoes. You are probably down to metal to metal. You are going to need;drums, shoes, cylinders and a spring kit.
