Clicking-like Noise Front End

Hi! I've owned my 2006 cobalt LT autotrans for about a month now. My mechanic was with me when I got the car, all it needed at the time were new front struts and front end alignment. Got those done. She has 64,000 miles.

Now...I took her on a trip to Michigan, that was about a 4 hour trip. Beautiful trip, no problems. Same with on the way home. Now however, I notice the car's front is a bit more noisy. I thought it came from the driver side but after opening the hood I can't honestly tell. I hear it while idling and accelerating. Once I get over 40mph the noise is gone, I also don't hear it while coasting.

It's also now very cold out, but even with warming the car I hear it a bit. I can describe the noise as tapping your nail against a hard surface repeatedly.

Is it rpm related or speed related? Does it sound louder at start up than after its been driving a bit? Got a video?

I'm thinking rpm, and I do not have video, I'll attemp it tomorrow. I can hear the noise while the car is running in park, just not as loud.
