Blower Motor Noise

My 05 Balt has noise from the blower motor. I've read numerous threads about the issue and replacement instructions. My question is, is it worth replacing? I've read some people have the issue return. Is there a "problem solver" replacement? Is is preventable? Can it be solved without replacement? I did see someone sprayed WD-40 in the cabin air filter box with the blower on and it stopped the sound. I'm just gathering ideas before spending $60+ on something that may happen again.

What kinda noise is it whining, clunking, squealing, buzzing? Depending on the noise the problem could be different.

That's common only way to fix it is to replace the motor.

Well that's what I'm asking if it's worth it or is it just going to happen again

It'll just happen again eventually but that'll be quite some time before it starts making noise again.
