07 Cobalt Ss Head/cam Swap

hey guys, new to the forum, have been surfing around here, there's a lot of interesting info that would def come in handy. Anyways long story short I replaced my tensioner on my 07 lsj, jumped timing and bent the intake valves, i sent it off and everything was rebuilt. I've got the head back now, bolted down and all torqued to spec. I have everything laid out on my buddy's work bench for the exhaust side and also intake side (all in order). he had a few people over the other night and my cams got moved around and possibly switched, I'm wondering is there any markings on the cams that differ them exhaust cam from intake? ive looked and can't seem to see any (maybe I'm looking over them) this car has me tired out lol thanks alot

There should be part numbers on the cams themselves on the spots that aren't the lobes or bearing journals. Now GMpartsdirect doesn't have the part numbers listed on their site, but let me see if I can track them down for you.

Here you go! CED has them on a pdf on their site.

LSJ Intake Camshaft Part number: 12587985

LSJ Exhaust Camshaft Part number : 12584363

Somewhere on your camshaft should be a part number, just match that number with these and you should be good

This may help identify your cams too for you
