2006 Cobalt - Weird Sound

Hi, - I have a 2006 Cobalt SS and when driving and picking up speed, it sounds like a bad lawnmower sound.....-- it recently had new tires put on, spark plugs replaced and a fuel injection cleaning, a sway bar replaced, and the Right front end wheel bearing replaced. There are no alerts on the dash and it doesn't quite pick up speed as efficiently. -- what could be causing this? There are no other sounds or issues, just sounds like a bad lawnmower sound. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Maybe they changed the wrong Wheel bearing. Sometimes it is very hard to detect which bearing is bad because vibrations transmit through the body from suspension. An inexperienced mechanic could easily make the mistake. Yes Chevy Customer Svc even dealers.

Thank you, I will have them take a look at it and see if that is the issue. Hopefully so, -- I appreciate the feedback!!

Could even possibly be the new bearing is bad. Had that happen to me last year. New bearing made more noise than old one minus the ABS code. Luckily it was diagnosed before 90 day warranty was up.

Hello, yes my 2010 cobalt has a lot of road noise. The tires appear to be wearing normal. The noise doesn,t get any worse if I turn sharply left or right. The noise is from the front of vehicle. Any ideas please let me know.
Thanks Dan [email protected]
