I got ipcw aftermarket tail lights and yes all the lights work but the brake lights. Yesterday the brake lights stayed on even when the brake was not pressed. And it took more pressure to let me get the car out of park. I took the senser off and when I turn the key on I can move the shifter without the senser connected

Without starting the turn key to "ON" press brake pedal. High brake light should come on it isn't fed by BCM. Blinkers and stop lamps use the same wiring straight from BCM, so if blinkers work so should the brakes.

Then it would be the switch because the blinkers work but the brake lights don't. The high brake light doesn't work either

It can't be the turn signals run off the brake system

Check if the BCM is receiving the brake pedal signal. P2 pin 31 it will be a yellow wire.
