2005 Cobalt ECM Issue

Sorry to bother you Hi everyone your time is greatly appreciated I have a 2005 cobalt I bought that was involved in a front end collision the rad support was damaged as well as ecm I have an identical 2005 Pontiac pursuit with same drivetrain can I take the ecm and swap ? Any way to reprogram the used ECM without taking to the dealer I heard all you need to do is a case relearn and my snap on scanner requires the vehicle to run to do that.

You will need to (what they call) marry the used PCM to the rest of the modules on GMLan like TCM, BCM Theft and which ever other module is in your vehicle. So unless you know a GM tech that does this on the side you're probably have to go to the dealer. I believe they charge $100
