Brake Light Issues

Brake lights remain on all the time, until you step on the brakes, then brake lights go out. Thinking its the brake light switch at the pedal?

Brake light issue

Any possibility being low on brake fluid would prompt the brake fluid sensor to have this effect on the brake lights? Just had the oil changed, apparently the rest of the fluids were not checked. But just checked fluid level and it was low.

Brake Lights

Yeah, that didn't work. Guess I'll try adjusting this weekend. Three mechanics and no on can figure out what the problem is. Thanks for the idea. I'll let you know.

You didn't specify what year!!! The adjustment is for 05-07, 08-10 have a different switch and a Tech 2 is needed to adjust it properly.
