Car is Jerking/jumping

So my car has been doing this for quite a while. I've changed the spark plugs as well as added a water evaporator to the gas. The problem occurs when I'm braking, decelerating, maintaining a speed below 45 mph (with or without cruise control), or when I'm very slowly accelerating (again, below 45 mph). When I'm at red lights, there are times when I'm holding my foot on the brake as hard as I possibly can just so that it doesn't continuously inch forward. The car jumps, jerks, surges. The engine also doesn't sound very healthy when idling. Below is a link to the video so that you can hear the sound it's making (turn your volume up if you can't hear it).

Some one please help, my baby is sick and I'm pretty concerned. Thanks for any and all replies.

Did you try cleaning your MAF sensor with CRC Mass Airflow Sensor cleaner? Do that and also clean your throttle body with throttle body cleaner. Rule those out first.

Thanks very much for the reply. I'll look into this and get back to you.

I just went to Autozone and got them to run a diagnostic. Two codes were thrown. P0010 and P0011. The descriptions are as follows:
P0010 - The ECM has detected a fault in the camshaft actuator solenoid circuit bank 1.
P0011 - The ECM has detected the desired camshaft position and actual camshaft position do not agree - Bank 1

You will need to replace the cam shaft actuator, but this alone would not make your car act like you mention. If you decide to clean the throttle body yourself make sure to follow the well described method.

What else might cause the problem, that you can think of off the top of your head?

Edit: Also, do you happen to have the part number for the two actuators? The intake and the exhaust?

I've actually found the part number and have one on hold at Autozone. If this is the problem, then I'd rather get it replaced ASAP without having to wait for it to come in through the mail. I have a 2009 LT 2.2L. I've got the intake camshaft actuator solenoid on hold, part number 12655420. I believe it's the right one, but I may very well be wrong.

Does your 09 even have actuators? This is what I get when I enter that number/

Sometimes the ECM can be tricked into putting out false codes, that's why they always say use codes only as a troubleshooting tool. My 2010 has actuators but not my 08, so I don't know if the 09 has them or not.

I am having the same problem. A guy quoted me 70 for the replacement sensor and 50 for the labour. Trying my best to actually know where the dang thing really is, and if I can do it myself easy and save money as well as learn a thing or two.

Two people showed me different spots and online is confusing as well, so I hope I can clear it up here. lol

Car still doesn't sound right though. Sounds like it has cams. Not sure if you have any mods, but I still don't think it should sound like that. Might have an issue in the head.

And I notice youre in New Orleans, I am on the northshore. haha
