Recirculation Actuator

09 Cobalt recirc actuator is clicking every time I start the vehicle.I looked into replacing it, is there a way to disable the actuator? Short of cutting wires.

My 05 does the same, dealer quoted me at up to 800 bucks. Lol no.

I just decided to leave it because I don't even notice the noise anymore and the actuator still works actually. Just is noisy for a bit.

Garage
One guy on here found that it was just a piece of sealing foam that had come unglued and got caught up in the door. He just yanked it out through the vent somehow.
