Trunk Release Button Doesn't Work

People,

Checked the greenish 20A fuse for trunk in engine bay and it's good. Trunk button doesnt even click when depressed. Where should I start? Checking for power at wire just behind the button with test light?

Thanks

The actual button could be broken, they are a POS, its simple to replace tho. I had to do mine cuz the rubber thing inside wore out.

Yeah, they aren't a very good switch. To troubleshoot remove connector on switch and short the 2 pins in the connector if the trunk opens you know it's the switch. On the 08 I kind of have to wiggle the button to get it to open.

Be careful when removing panel not to break the switch because wire is kinda short.
