Loud, Plasticky Vibrating Noise when Accelerating when Cold
I own two Cobalts, an '08 XFE bought new and an '09 bought used with 57K miles for my daughter. My '08 has been excellent; the '09 less so (new front wheel bearings, new converter and flex pipe (these two were warranty), and I have had the trans fluid and coolant replaced by the dealer on the '09, all in the past twelve months).
When the '09 (2.2, automatic) is cold, but not at idle or reverse, only when accelerating--there is a very loud, plastic vibration sound when accelerating that doesn't go away until the car is warmed up...then it is completely gone.
Anybody else experience anything like this?
Thank you in advance.
