Cruise control issue

So my cruise is factory and worked for a long time. Then it started going off when hitting bumps. Now it doesn't work at all. The power button lights up,but when I set it I get nothing and I checked the fuse (good), tested the steering wheel switches (working), all factory tailights work, all bcm plugs are good. Does anyone know about the Brake pedal switch, would it be this since the lights work fine? I've seen in a diagram a cruise cutoff switch? I've tried to lift up on the clutch and brake while driving and still can't get it to work. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I assume your high brake light also works fine and it wasn't modified with LED bulb replacements.

According to the diagram there's 2 sets of switches on the brake switch (or 2 switches), one for cruise and one for brake lights. So brake lights can work and not cruise. I would look at brake switch first.
