Core Support

I'm not sure what section to ask this in but I got a phone call today from my friend Doug he gave me the bad news that he discovered when he was installing my new fenders, bumper cover and new hood that my core support is bent the previous owner had hit a deer and but it looked only cosmetic I see that a aftermarket core support is not to expensive so I was wondering if he should try to straighten it or should I have him try and install a new one I'm so upset

Depends how badly it is distorted. I would put in a new one since that one's strenght has been compromised somewhat. But again it depends on how much cash you are willing to spend.

Thank you Doug said it's not to bad but I think I would feel more comfortable with a new one I'm not sure if I should get an oem one or an aftermarket one to save money
