Brand new clutch grinding

I recently had a new clutch put in my 2009 cobalt and now when i shift into 3rd with the clutch fully depressed it grinds....any idea what it is?

Clutch pedal isn't adjusted right and clutch isn't releasing all the way.

There's probably still air in the slave cylinder

everything ive seen online is there is air in the system, most people claim that if not caught soon the air in the system can cause the gears and synchros to become damaged. most are saying because its hard to bleed this system that mechanics dont get all the air out and it causes issues.
