Cold Hot Weather Power Lock Issues

Hello everyone,

I have a weird power lock issue. My 2009 Cobalt driver side front door will only open with my keyless entry remote when it's cold.

Early in the morning when I press the unlock button all the doors unlock, but once it gets hot the driver's side tries to open but it will stick and just move a little or halfway up, either way, I have to use my key to open the lock.

Has anyone come across something like this before?

Thanks in advance.

Rob

Weak solenoid or it's gummed up. Try cleaning and lubricating.
