Odometer Displays Number 9

Today when I turned off the car, the odometer display went blank, as usual, but then displayed the number 9 for several seconds before turning off.

Can someone lend some help in understanding what it means?

The gauge cluster/odometer can be glitchy. If it's still reading accurately when the car is on, and you don't notice any strange behavior while the car is running, then it's probably not a problem.
